P-TECH

Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) are innovative schools that allow students least likely to attend college an opportunity to receive both a high school diploma and a credential and/or an associate degree. The hallmark of the P-Tech model is its career focus and the provision of work-based education.

At Farmersville ISD, we envision a future where every student is equipped with both technical expertise and academic prowess. We not only work to educate our students, we prepare them to confidently navigate the challenges of the global economy, and to actively contribute to the relevant workforce of their community.

Programs of Study:

Farmersville ISD's Engineering program of study focuses on the design, development, and use of engines, machines, and structures. CTE learners will learn how to apply science, mathematical methods, and empirical evidence to the innovation, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of different manufacturing systems.

Students enrolled in Farmersville ISD's P-TECH program have the opportunity to earn a Level 1 Certificate and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Collin College.
