School Closings & Delays

Posted on Wednesday, January 8 at 11 a.m.:

Dear Farmersville ISD Families,

Due to the forecasted inclement weather conditions, Farmersville ISD will not have school tomorrow, January 9. The winter storm is expected to move into our area early tomorrow morning, which could create challenging and potentially dangerous conditions for students and staff returning home from school.

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we believe this is the best course of action to ensure everyone’s well-being during this winter storm.

We will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates through our website, social media, text messages, news outlets, and email.

We appreciate your understanding and support. Please be safe and stay warm
