PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF REFERRAL PERIOD

Public Notice

Farmersville ISD is now accepting referrals for students who may need gifted services for the school year. This program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and academic skills/thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom. Services are provided only upon identification of education needs of the student. Anyone wishing to refer a student attending Farmersville ISD in kindergarten through twelfth grade this school year is asked to go by the student’s campus office and request a copy of the referral form. This form must be returned to the school by October 7, 2025. Those unable to go by the school should contact the school front office or the child’s teacher to request a form be sent to them.

El Distrito Independiente de Farmersville está aceptando recomendaciones para estudiantes que necesiten servicios para niños dotados durante este año. El programa está diseñado para alumnos que exhiben habilidades intelectuales y académicas a un nivel extraordinario el cual no se puede atender en un salón de clases regulares. Servicios serán provistos a base que el estudiante sea identificado. Quien desee recomendar a un estudiante quien asista el Distrito Escolar de Farmersville en grados Kínder a doceno grado puede venir a la oficina y pedir la forma de recomendación. La forma deberá ser devuelta a la escuela para 7 de octubre, 2025. Aquellos que no puedan ir a la escuela deben comunicarse con la oficina de la escuela o con el maestro del niño para solicitar que se les envíe un formulario.
