Fine Arts at Farmersville ISD

Fine Arts Coordinator:

Scott Cross is the Head Band Director and Fine Art Coordinator at Farmersville ISD. He has been teaching for over25 years and has proudly served Farmersville ISD for the past 19 years.

In 2023, he was named Fine Arts Coordinator for the district. Under his leadership, the Farmersville High School Band has achieved remarkable success, earning ten consecutive sweepstakes awards. The band has also reached the UIL Area Marching Finals 8 times and advanced to the UIL State Marching Contest on three occasions, including an impressive 2nd place finish in 2017. In 2024, the band made history by advancing to the state contest as a 4A band for the first time, finishing 13th in the state.

Beyond his professional achievements, Scott treasures time with his family. He is married to his best friend, Kyla, and they have two wonderful children, Cohen and Clara.
