It's almost summertime and we are excited about all of our 2022 Summer Camps! We know your student is going to have a great time whether they are building a robot, launching a rocket, playing their favorite sports, or trying something completely new! Learn more about our STEM Camps and Athletic Camps below. Our summer camps are for all incoming third-grade through ninth-grade students. Your student doesn't have to live within Farmersville ISD boundaries or be a student to participate in our camps. Each STEM camp has a limit to only 40 students. Once a camp is full, registration will be closed. Our athletic camps do not have an enrollment limit. Don't delay, get your student registered today!
 
 
 
Elementary STEM Camps (Camps for Incoming 3-6 Grade Students):

This camp is for competitive robotics students and prior robotics experience is required. Students will utilize VEX IQ to learn how to take their robot design to the next competitive level. This hands-on camp is for incoming third through sixth-grade students. It will be held at FJHS from 9 am-3 pm, lunch is included, and the cost is $30/per student. Scholarships are available to those in need. Elementary Robotics Camp is held at Farmersville Junior High School. This camp is limited to 40 students and will fill up quickly.

This robotics camp is for beginner and competitive robotics students who are incoming third through sixth-grade students. Students will utilize VEX IQ to learn robot design and computer programming. Campers' robots will compete in various games and challenges to help test their robot's skills. This camp is from 9 am-3 pm, lunch is included, and the cost is $30/per students. Scholarships are available to students in need. Elementary Robotics Camp is held at Farmersville Junior High School. This camp is limited to 40 students and will fill up quickly.

2Calling all future engineers and architects... we have the perfect summer camp for you! Join us as we learn about different types of bridges, how to create them, build some of our own bridges and load test them to find out if they satisfy various design criteria. This camp is offered to all incoming third through sixth-grade students and is $30/per student. Bridges camp is July 25-28, is held from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and includes lunch. Bridges Camp is held at Farmersville Junior High School and is limited to 40 students. This camp will fill up quickly, so get registered today. Scholarships are available to those in need.

9Does your child like animation or stop motion movies? Then this is the camp for them. Your student will have a great time learning about and creating stop motion videos. This hands-on camp is from 9 am-3 pm, includes a free lunch, and the cost is $30/per student. Scholarships are available for those in need. This camp is offered to all incoming third through sixth grade students and held at Farmersville Junior High School. This camp will fill up quickly, so get registered today.

Secondary STEM Camps (Camps for Incoming 7-8 Grade Students):

Is your student interested in robotics? Do they enjoy building, creating, designing, and programming? If so, then robotics camp is perfect for them. We will immerse our students in the robotics engineering world through the VEX Robotics Design System. This is the same system we utilize for our Robotics teams. Your student will learn programming, mechanical design, system integrations, and he/she will have the opportunity to test out their robots in various team challenges. This camp is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and it includes a free lunch. Robotics camp is $30/per student. Scholarships are available for students in need.

Blast off with ultimate experience by integrating all the summer camp engineering disciplines to launch various types of rockets. We will ignite imaginations and combine fun with learning about math, science, propulsion, aeronautics, and rocket history! Our focus on using various rocket types will be the platform that allows us to utilize computer-aided drafting, rocket simulation, and 3D printing. This camp is sure to be a blast and one your student won’t want to miss out on. This camp is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and includes free lunch. Rocketry camp is $30/student.  Scholarships are available for those in need.

ATHLETIC Summer Camps (Camps for Incoming 4-9 Grade Students):

This camp will focus on in-fielding and out-fielding skills, catching, pitching, bunting, hitting, and base running. Our softball camp is open to all girls who are incoming fourth through ninth-grade students. All players need to bring their glove, bat (if they have one), helmet (if they have one), cleats/shoes, softball pants, snack (if you feel your camper needs one), and a refillable water bottle with their name on it. The cost of this camp includes a softball t-shirt. Camp is from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and takes place at the FISD softball field and indoor batting cages. Scholarships are available to those in students need.

This camp is open to all boys who incoming fourth through ninth-grade students. Your son will have the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of baseball while having fun and meeting new friends. All players need to dress in athletic attire, and bring their glove, bat (if they have one), athletic shoes/molded cleats, helmet (if they have one), and a refillable water bottle with their name on it

 

This camp is $55/per student. Baseball Summer Camp is held at the FiSD Baseball Field and the FISD Indoor Batting Cages. All camp participants will receive free lunch.

tGet ready to have fun while working on your tennis skills and learning new ones! This camp is open to all incoming fourth through ninth-grade students. All players need to dress in athletic attire and tennis shoes, and bring their tennis racquet and a refillable water bottle with their name on it. All camp participants will receive a free lunch. Tennis camp is from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and takes place at the FHS tennis courts. The cost of this camp is $55/per student, includes free lunch, and a tennis camp t-shirt.  Scholarships are available to those students in need.

Your son will have the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of basketball while having fun and meeting new friends. We’ll learn and practice shooting, passing, dribbling, and defensive skills. All players need to dress in appropriate basketball attire and basketball shoes and bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it. This camp is from 9 am-12 pm and will be held at the FHS gym. The cost of this camp is $55/per student and includes a basketball camp t-shirt. Free lunch is also available to all camp participants.

This camp is open to all incoming fourth through ninth-grade students. All players need to dress in athletic attire, soccer cleats, and shin guards, and bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it. At Soccer Summer Camp, your student will learn individual techniques, 1-on-1 tactics, small group tactics, and more. Our ninth-grade students will learn advanced techniques, full team tactics, and more. Our soccer camp is from 9 am - noon and takes place at the FISD Stadium. The cost of this camp is $55/per student and includes free lunch and a soccer camp t-shirt. Scholarships are available to those students in need.

Your daughter will have the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of basketball while having fun and meeting new friends. We’ll learn and practice shooting, passing, dribbling, and defensive skills. All players need to dress in appropriate basketball attire and clean basketball shoes. Also, campers need to bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it. Our basketball camp is from 9 am - 12 pm and takes place at the FHS gym. This cost of this camp is $55/student and includes a basketball camp t-shirt and free lunch. Scholarships are available for those in need.

vGrab your knee pads and meet us on the volleyball court! This camp is open to girls who are incoming fourth through ninth-grade students. Your daughter will have the opportunity to learn and practice basic skills while having fun and meeting new friends. We’ll learn and practice passing, setting, blocking, hitting, footwork and more. All players need to dress in appropriate volleyball attire and clean gym shoes. All campers should bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it. Volleyball camp is from 9 am - 12 pm and is held in the FHS gym (for our 7-9 grade students) and the FJHS Gym (for our 4-6 grade students).

 

The cost of this camp is $55/student and it includes a volleyball camp t-shirt and free lunch. Scholarships are available for those in need.

fbAre you ready for some football? Football camp is open to all incoming fourth-grade through ninth-grade students. All players need to dress in athletic attire, athletic shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it. Your student will learn new football skills, work on advanced football techniques, and participate in various workouts that are sure to get your student ready for the fall football season. Whether your student is new to football or has played for some time, this camp is for him. 

 

Our football camp is from 9 am - 12 pm and takes place at the FISD Stadium and the FHS weight room. The cost of this camp is $55/per student and includes free breakfast and lunch and athletic gear. All 7-9th grade camp participants will be issued athletic shirts and shorts (required athletic wear for the 2022-2023 school year). All fourth through sixth grade students will receive a football camp t-shirt. Scholarships are available for students in need.
